This book starts out with some dark material that unfortunately too many women find themselves facing. After escaping an abusive relationship Jade runs into a very alpha male, greek god, pretty boy, that is definitely a badass, and he has an almost overwhelming protector mode built into him, meet Colt Stone and his two intimidating brothers. Jade soon finds herself wrapped up emotionally and literally in Colt, not matter what her head tells her rationally her heart has different ideas. This book is full of action, sarcastic banter between the characters, and of course lots of hotness and sexual chemistry. Who knew that a cold stone could be so hot and bad!
